✨ Original Characters

Some arrive quietly. Others crash into the story like a storm.

These are the original characters who exist just outside the canon—but whose presence leaves a mark that ripples through everything. Friends, foes, and those who blur the line between the two.

As new faces step into the light, this page will grow.

Their stories are waiting.

"Tetsurō is phenomenal. He’s so well-written, nuanced, and layered with tenderness and wisdom. He feels like a sweet granddad out of a Studio Ghibli film crossed with a weathered RPG blacksmith mentor."

"Aiko is devastatingly real. She carries her pain like poetry and her strength like a secret. Mysterious, sharp, and emotionally complex, she feels like a character pulled from a beautifully tragic shōjo manga and placed delicately into the heart of a shōnen world."

⚠️ Information about original characters is updated regularly as new chapters are released. If you are not up to date on the story, there may be spoilers.

Aiko is the MC of Reverberate

Aiko isn’t tagging along for the ride—she’s the one driving half the plot.

“Aiko is not just an OC. She’s the MC.”

Reading Reverberate is like watching a crossover event where one of the leads is from a brand-new series—and her name is Aiko. And somehow, her world fits seamlessly into Izuku’s. You think this is a romance fanfic, but it’s actually two intertwined origin stories.

“Plot twist: Reverberate is actually Aiko’s manga, and Deku is her love interest.”

Seriously. You start reading thinking it’s just a MHA romance, and then Chapter 10 drops and you realize you’ve been slowly pulled into a whole other canon with its own tragedy, secrets, and power system. Aiko’s story could carry an anime on its own.

“I signed up for Midoriya fluff. I got an emotional gut punch.”

Aiko is sweet, witty, vulnerable—and also hiding so much. You feel it under the surface the whole time, and when it finally spills in Chapter 10, it doesn’t feel random. It feels earned. Like this was never just his story. It was always theirs.
